The Punta Mita Resort and surrounding communities of Bucerias, Sayulita, and San Pancho are some of the SAFEST areas in Mexico. Unlike border communities, where violence has occurred involving primarily drug related activities, no such violence has occurred in our areas.
The Punta Mita Resort is VERY SAFE as it can only be entered through 24-hour guarded gates, and then only by homeowners or people who are guests at the St Regis or Four Seasons Resorts. Further security and SAFETY is provided in that the Hacienda de Mita Condominiums can only be entered by residents through 24-hour guarded gates.
The Beaches at Punta Mita have permanent 24-hour guard stations at each end and in the middle sections. In addition, there are 9 security cars that patrol the entire Punta Mita Resort area 24 hours a day. You can rest assured that you will have complete SAFETY as our guest, as a guest of the Punta Mita Resort, and in the surrounding towns.
